I Uhtred of Bebbanburg know exactly how you feel. My wife was not a very wealthy woman, but I absolutely fell in love with her and have an amazing son together. The only problem is that she is a stay at home mother, and produces no income what so ever. For that reason I have to produce twice the income, and do twice the work. I go to work for many hours, and sometimes don't even come home for days, and weeks. When I come home I have to do work on the farm, and plow the ground to make fertile soil. My Wife Mildrith does do many things around the house, but sometimes I wish she would work and make some money for our relationship.
I do not believe in marrying for money, but I do believe that when you find what you think is the perfect person you should find out what they plan on doing in the future, and what they have done in the past. Getting yourself caught up in a person with great amounts of debts, or with a person who seems like they are going nowhere in life could be a problem, and could even get you into trouble. This causes a problem sometime, but if you look out for it before you tie the knot it could cause you a lot less pain in the future.
