Our time period is a hard time for men and women to have a happy relationship for a long period of time, and it is even harder when you find that perfect person, and you tragically lose them. I, Uhtred of Bebbanburg, am so happy for you about the fact that you did something for yourself and went out on a vacation. You need to take care of yourself now, and meeting Richard sounds like it was a great thing for you. Do what makes you happy, and go where your heart leads you. If his daughter seems like it will be that big of a problem, I would have a serious talk with Richard and see how he feels on the topic. It is not worth it to get serious, then be miserable because his daughter does not approve of you. You and Richard sound like you get along great, and both families love you together and approve of it all, besides Liz. This shows that only Liz has a problem with it, and should not ruin your connection with Richard. You hit it off with Richard on your vacation before you knew he was rich, so you should not feel guilty like you are dating him for his money.....its only a plus. I hope everything goes as you hope it will, and no matter what happens just make sure that you are happy.
